TOPICA is Dedalus’ innovative platform for developing for clinical quality databases through monitoring and exchange of data between healthcare systems.
There is a great demand for harvesting the exponentially growing amount of data that is registered and stored daily in to the many health systems in order to identify and understand data in new ways and to detect causality and evidence. TOPICA is the platform that can bring this data into by setting up clinical databases that collect designated data.
TOPICA integrates to many other solutions and databases e.g. EMR’s an EPR’s and collects data that is important for instance a team or research or screening project, and compiles them with data from other systems and also manual or robotic entries directly into the solution. Historical data can also be included. The platform’s built-in reporting tool enables individualized reporting, and data can also be used with most Business intelligence solutions.
The TOPICA Platform is the foundation for many Danish Screening projects, e.g. the Bowel Cancer Screening Program and the Danish Lung Cancer Registry. But the Platform can be deployed in any setting or country.
