NOTUS is the digital assistant that makes the administrative process of relocation easy and clear. Both relocation of individuals and families, change of general practitioner, entry from abroad or moving abroad is handled in the Solution.

NOTUS equals Digital Relocation. The solution allows citizens to report their relocation digitally and with the help of the national authentication service NemID. It can be an individual citizen, but also families and individuals for whom the citizen has consent to report a relocation. The solution also includes self-service for changing general practitioner – with or without relocation.

The Digital Relocation Solution can handle all types of relocations: relocation internally in Denmark, but also citizens who move with or without NemID from abroad to Denmark, and also relocations from Denmark and abroad. The solution also offers Welcome Letters, which allows for automatically sending welcome letters to new citizens in the municipality.

NOTUS integrates with borger.dk from where the citizen accesses Digital Relocation, and also offers self-service solutions for stakeholder consultation which works automatically. Both involving children relocating away from one or both parents and resident landlord relocations.

The solution also includes a fine module that automates the issuing of civil fines when citizens report a relocation too late, thus minimizing the work and time required for searching for relocations, issuing of civil fines, and subsequent follow-up on the citizens who do not pay the fine, and ultimately minimizing the problem of citizens registered at an address, where they do not live.

NOTUS is also the solution that offers self-service for citizens who report for a person to be digitally removed from his or her address. The need typically arises if the reporting citizen who notifies cannot receive housing benefit, state educational support (SU), child support, or other assistance because other citizens are listed at the address.
