Manon Labat

International Women in Engineering Day 2022

I graduated as an engineer from ESIEE PARIS school, where I chose e-Health major.
I always knew I wanted to work in health sector, but as an engineer.
I’ve been working at Dedalus for 6 years, near Paris where I started as a software developer on DxCare, and I am now tech lead and scrum master of my team. Today my role is to supervise the team and help them overcome issues by bringing my technical expertise.

Why is it important for you to have diversity within your team?
Diversity brings many points of view and experiences, which increases efficiency and that’s why we need a diverse range of people, including women in our teams!

What do you like about working for Dedalus?
I feel really useful and valued in the field of health, which is essential and so important to me.

What would you tell your younger self?
Don’t hesitate, even if there are few women in R&D, or in your field, you are capable of finding your place!
