We are excited to introduce a release that reimagines radiology workflows with intelligent automation, immersive visualization, and robust compliance features.

What’s new?

1. Upload Portal Enhancements

Simplify and accelerate study intake with:

  • Auto-transfer to PACS: Automatically route uploaded studies to your PACS archive, reducing manual steps.
  • Non-DICOM File Support: Attach PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs, or TIFFs per study.
  • Extended Upload Limits: Upload up to 10 GB per study, supporting high-resolution imaging and large datasets.
  • DICOM Tagging of Comments: Upload comments are now embedded in the DICOM study comments tag, ensuring traceability across systems.

2. DeepUnity 3D Volume Rendering (DUVR)

Step into a new dimension of diagnostic imaging:

  • Local Rendering: Faster performance with no server dependency.
  • New 3D Tools: Orientation puppet, slice thickness controls, and demographic overlays.
  • Streamlined UI: Redesigned 3D menu and toolbar for intuitive navigation.
  • Future-Proof: Built to replace legacy MPR with a scalable, modern rendering engine.

3. Structured Report Addendum Workflow

Ensure clarity, compliance, and auditability:

  • Multiple Addenda: Each clearly marked and versioned, always displayed above the original report.
  • Permission-Based Editing: Fine-grained control over who can edit validated reports or create addenda.
  • HL7 ORU Integration: Addenda are fully supported in inbound and outbound HL7 messages.
  • Updated Print Templates: Addendum sections are automatically included in default templates.

4. Teleradiology Optimization

Built for distributed care teams and SLA-driven environments:

  • Specialty-Based Worklists: Assign studies based on radiologist expertise, with HL7 ORM support.
  • SLA Reporting Deadlines: Color-coded urgency indicators and deadline tracking in the worklist.
  • Manual Overrides & Logging: Adjust deadlines as needed, with full audit trail.

5. Encryption at Rest

Protect sensitive data with AES-256 encryption:

  • Source-Specific Keys: Unique encryption keys per source, with renewal options.
  • BSI C5 Alignment: Meets key requirements for German and Swiss healthcare environments.
