20 years of experience of information sharing and data management from the scene of accident to the hospital.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, amPHI has been developed as a distributor of prehospital patient record, including the whole journey from the scene of accident to hospitalization. Today, the system serves 800+ healthcare units and 8 million people.
amPHI is a business-critical IT-platform within healthcare. It ensures a flexible and easy-to-use rescue, emergency, and prehospital system for 8 million people, giving the best possible conditions to start their recovery. amPHI has been used in Stockholm for the last five years and in Denmark since 2016.
amPHI was developed in Region Nordjylland in Demark during the early 21st century, in close collaboration with Aalborg University and healthcare professionals, which later also included Region Stockholm. amPHI is based on 20 years of experience of information sharing and data management from the scene of accident to the hospital.
The system is a complete solution for electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) and connects the communication among the emergency units (ambulances, helicopters, boats, etc), the emergency control centre and the emergency department.
Strengthens the ambulance staff by bringing the whole healthcare organisation’s expertise to the scene of accident.
With amPHI the healthcare organisation’s expertise is connected to the scene of accident, allowing the ambulance staff to optimise the treatment of the patient.
The amPHI-platform is operated through a digital tablet at the emergency department and from a web-based solution at the emergency control centres and hospitals. The software has been shown capable of managing complex information sharing between 800+ emergency departments, emergency control centres and hospitals.
amPHI Systems was recently acquired by Dedalus. The aim is to establish amPHI as the world leading healthcare system within prehospital care. The ambition is based on amPHI’s security, resilience and reliability that has served Region Stockholm for five years and Denmark for seven years.
