Clinical Content Curation that Clinicians Can Rely On

Behind every effective clinical software solution is content that reflects the realities of everyday care. At Dedalus, this principle drives the work of our Medical Office, where clinical content curation is not just a task but a commitment to making healthcare software safer, smarter and easier to use.
The process is grounded in evidence. Every form, chart and assessment is designed with clinicians in mind, built to international standards such as SNOMED CT and LOINC so information can move seamlessly between products and care settings. This attention to detail ensures that the software fits naturally into clinical workflows rather than asking clinicians to adapt to the technology.
Launched in 2022, the Medical Office brings together 15 healthcare professionals with backgrounds in medical informatics. Based across eight countries from Germany to Australia, they work side by side with product teams, lead global awareness sessions and capture requests through a ticketing system that ensures every need is tracked and addressed.
Over a two year period, the team dealt with 398 requests that fell into nine distinct categories. Close to a third of them concerned clinical content curation, which shows just how central it is to everyday clinical practice. From this work came a shared library of content, now part of several Dedalus solutions, helping teams work faster, avoid repeating tasks and keep quality high.
The language used in that content matters just as much as the content itself. Careful management of medical terminology, along with checks for consistent meaning, ensures that data keeps its integrity when transferred from one system to another. This makes it easier for different organisations to work together and share information without losing clarity.
This collaborative model extends beyond content. Clinicians and developers work together on design support, clinical UX, clinical safety, evaluation and even pre sales requests where clear clinical framing is essential. The impact is tangible with average satisfaction scores of 4.6 out of 5 from internal teams and steadily improving resolution times as processes have been refined and the right expertise assembled.
