Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care visits Dedalus

to learn about its market-leading innovative healthcare solutions.

Dedalus was proud to welcome Will Quince MP, the Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care, to its dedicated Innovation Suite in Nexus, Leeds.

During his visit, the Health Minister had the opportunity to learn about Dedalus and its innovative healthcare solutions. Dedalus is renowned for its expertise in developing and implementing advanced technologies that enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. KLAS Research has recently recognised Dedalus as the leading EMR supplier outside of the US for a third year in a row.

Dedalus’s representatives Michael Lee, Territory Director, UK&I North and Sally Stanley, UK&I Market Development Director shared their experience of how technology is making an impact in healthcare systems across the world and how the NHS could benefit from the vast wealth of data help within the service. The discussion included how digital solutions could support the government’s efforts in tackling the challenges faced by the NHS such as managing patient backlogs and reducing waiting times.

The health minister was updated on how Swiftqueue, Dedalus’ scheduling and patient management platform, is driving up capacity and reducing DNAs within multiple settings across the NHS.

The visit concluded with Will Quince expressing his thanks to Dedalus and his optimism about the potential of technology to make a positive impact in the NHS.
