The Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, visited the Leeds headquarters of Dedalus today, recognising the company’s role in driving digital innovation in healthcare and its ongoing investment in the region.
The visit comes shortly after the launch of West Yorkshire’s flagship Investment Zone, which aims to unlock £220 million in funding and create 2,500 jobs over the next five years, with health tech a key sector in the strategy.
During her visit, Mayor Brabin met with Dedalus Group Chairman Andrea Fiumicelli and members of the UK digital solutions team to discuss the transformative impact of AI and digital technologies in supporting NHS clinical services.
She also heard from early-career professionals based in Leeds, who are contributing to national healthcare improvements through locally developed solutions.
