The services provided by the Trust include community and therapy services, primary care, community and inpatient mental health services, learning disability services, healthy lifestyle support and addictions services, along with specialist services for children and forensic and offender health support.

As an organisation the Trust have been at the forefront of the Electronic Patient Records (EPR) and were the first to go live with an EPR in the mental health sphere.   The Trust have also embraced the move of their EPR into the cloud and are seeing the benefits having moved from
on-premise.  The migration has provided greater flexibility, performance, scalability and availability.

The Trust have also embraced electronic prescribing where they are seeing patient safety improvements in medications’ management through the move to EPMA where checks can easily be made before prescribing and administering drugs.

“From a patient or citizen perspective being able to access and understand your healthcare is just as important as understanding what’s happening to you and being delivered to you by the people who are looking after you this is the key opportunity of digital going forward.”
