Dedalus is proud to announce its role as a founding member of the UK’s inaugural Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Network, established by the Healthcare Innovation Consortium (HIC), a leading digital health consultancy.

This pioneering network aims to unite healthcare leaders, industry experts, and technology providers to drive the successful adoption and optimisation of EPR systems across the UK’s healthcare landscape.

The EPR Network is designed to support Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and NHS trusts throughout the entire EPR lifecycle, from initial evaluation and procurement to implementation and ongoing optimisation. By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, the network seeks to enhance patient care through effective digital transformation.

As a global leader in health software, Dedalus has been recognised as the top-ranked provider in the 2025 Best in KLAS: Software & Services for Acute Care Electronic Health Records (EHR) in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Southern Europe regions.

Additionally, Dedalus’ EPR system, ORBIS, has played a key role in securing the company’s position as the #1 Electronic Health Record (EHR) provider across multiple global markets, according to Black Book Research’s 2025 Global Healthcare IT Performance Survey.

“Joining the UK’s first EPR Network is a significant step toward a more connected and efficient healthcare system,” said Tracy McClelland, Chief Clinical Information Officer of Dedalus UK and Ireland.”We believe that true interoperability is key to delivering safer, smarter, and more integrated patient care. This collaboration allows us to work alongside industry leaders and leverage our expertise to drive innovation and ensure that clinicians have seamless access to the data they need, when they need it.”

By joining the UK’s EPR Network, Dedalus aims to leverage its extensive experience and innovative solutions to support the network’s mission of creating a cohesive and efficient healthcare ecosystem. This collaboration underscores Dedalus’s commitment to advancing healthcare technology and improving patient outcomes through enhanced data interoperability and accessibility.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the EPR Network to the healthcare community,” said Hadleigh Stollar, CEO and Founder of HIC, who conceptualised the network. “The network presents a unique opportunity for EPR providers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to join forces in tackling digital transformation challenges and working toward a common goal — improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Dedalus is honoured to be part of this transformative initiative and looks forward to supporting national priorities, such as the mandate for all NHS trusts to have an EPR in place by 2026.
