At the “Core” of the process, all stakeholders need components supporting sharing information, clinical and nursing valuations, drug lifecycle management and the integration with robotic or devices technology.
While historically, the treatment phase in the continuum of care has been mainly performed as outpatient and inpatient activities, there is a rapid and growing understanding that the ‘continuum’ encompasses the patient journey through all parts of the Health system. This journey may include the home, Community care, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary care settings. The joint effort of all the stakeholders of the entire process is fundamental to optimal patient outcomes and more effective and complete care management. In this segment it is fundamental to rely on solutions really supporting the specific different needs of stakeholders across all settings with open platform enabled solutions better able to monitor and manage the flow of information across the journey.
Dedalus offers a wide set of solutions, supporting from Patient Administration Systems, to Electronic Medical Record, to e-prescription, drugs lifecycle management and departmental systems (such as theatres and ICU – plus capabilities to extend the reach to the Community and home settings through (for example) Telehealth offerings and the Dedalus DC4H platfrom. For each of them, the ease of use, reliability, tutorship, completeness are key factors to effectively support health professionals in their daily work. Tools that simplify and secure the process, giving to health professionals the chance to gain more time to dedicate to their patients and to provide value-added activities.
Dedicated tools to support professionals with mobility and Telehealth care destined to become the daily work-companion for health professionals, along with the increasing use of robotic technology, gives Dedalus the possibility to support effectively and efficiently the drug lifecycle management for chemotherapy.
